GB-Spidex industrial elevator buckets are ideal for increasing the capacity of existing bucket elevators or for new elevators where the size of the machine needs to be optimized.
The elevator buckets are closely spaced with a series of buckets without bottoms followed by one bucket with a bottom, the material is retained by the natural angle of repose of the product which is lifted in a series of continuous columns. The space wasted between conventional elevator buckets is fully utilised in the bottomless system which achieves the highest possible throughput in a given space. The elevator buckets pick up and discharge conventionally, but care must be taken in the design of the professional boot and the head.
Bottomless elevator buckets can be used for most materials from grain to cement and industrial powders to phosphates. With sticky materials, such as meals, the system is effectively self-cleaning.
