A&D’s New Analytical Balances Take Up Less Space and Provide More Value A&D COMPANY, LIMITED
A&D Company, Limited recently announced their new line of precision analytical balances, the HR-AZ/HR-A series. These balances, behind their simple and compact design, utilize A&D’s cutting-edge sensor technology that delivers fast and accurate weighing to users looking for globally-proven precision at a reasonable price. Specifically, the HR-AZ/HR-A series brings three savings to users.
Saving time
With the widely-recognized Compact Super Hybrid Sensor (C-SHS) refined especially for analytical balances, the HR-AZ/HR-A series realizes a stabilization speed of 2 seconds at a resolution of 0.1 mg, increasing the efficiency and productivity of users. In addition, the HR-AZ models are equipped with a highly reliable internal calibration mechanism, allowing quick, one-touch automatic calibration to ensure consistent balance accuracy.
Saving space
The HR-AZ/HR-A series are top-loading analytical balances with a footprint as small as 198 mm by 294 mm, which is smaller than the ISO A4 paper size. Their breeze break has rotary sliding doors and requires no extra space at the rear when accessing the weighing chamber, as the doors simply rotate behind the balance. Furthermore, the breeze break detaches with one touch for ease of cleaning and operation without it. These features maximize opportunities for use of an analytical balance even in the smallest of spaces, including automatic production lines and confined spaces like gloveboxes and controlled environment cabinets.
Saving cost
A&D developed the HR-AZ/HR-A series for the value-conscious user in mind. The design is all about “keeping it simple” without compromising quality or performance. Key features demanded by today’s market have also been included, such as fourteen weighing units, GLP/GMP/GCP/ISO compliant output, adjustable response characteristics, as well as a hold function and statistical calculation function.
Various options and accessories are available for the HR-AZ/HR-A series, including the quick USB interface to transfer weighing data to a PC without special software installation, the LAN-Ethernet interface to control and acquire data from multiple balances, the rechargeable battery unit for use without AC power, and the density determination kit that facilitates density calculation.
Three capacities of 252 g, 152 g and 102 g are available for both the HR-AZ series (which has an internal calibration mass) and HR-A series (external mass calibration only), all with a readability of 0.1 mg.
