BM Series of Micro Analytical Balances (With a Built-in Fanless Ionizer) A&D COMPANY, LIMITED
The BM series has a separate neutralizing chamber with a built-in DC ionizer. The user can easily make sure that the sample is free of static electricity before weighing it and therefore obtain a more accurate and stable weighing result. Since the DC ionizer is fanless and blows no air (except for minimal ionic air), it is possible to neutralize static in even fine powders without having them blown away.
The BM series also features a large weighing chamber for easier operation during micro-gram weighing while keeping the influence of drafts or convection flows to a minimum. Its interlockable doors allow the user to slide a door open using the handle on the opposite side (i.e. use the left hand to open the door on the right, and vice versa), making the work of weighing more efficient. The clearly-visible, reverse backlit LCD also improves operability.
The following six models are available in the BM series, and all are equipped with an internal calibration mass and come with a handy weighing data logger: the BM-20 (22 g × 0.001 mg), the BM-22 (smart range of 5.1 g × 0.001 mg and 22 g × 0.01 mg), the BM-252 (250 g × 0.01 mg), the BM-500 (520 g × 0.1 mg), the BM-300 (320 g × 0.1 mg), and the BM-200 (220 g × 0.1 mg).
A&D provide a tabletop breeze break and an anti-vibration table to help minimize the influence of external disturbances. Assessment of a weighing environment using actual data is also available upon request.
