Compact power management solution for load shedding applications ABB Oy Distribution Automation

PML630 is intended for small to medium sized industrial networks. In industrial power systems PML630 introduces comprehensive power balance based load shedding functionality providing disturbance-related blackout and power outage protection for industrial power plants. PML630 can manage a power system with maximum of 6 generators, 2 grid transformers, 15 network circuit breakers and 60 sheddable loads or load groups, connected to a maximum of 6 single busbars. All communication related to the load shedding functionality is implemented with IEC 61850 protocol. PML630 is a member of ABB’s Relion® product family.
