With the MS CAT5 KVM Switch users can use the CAT5 cable to control multiple computers with one keyboard, monitor and mouse. The optional CAT5 remote console module of this KVM switch enables users to locate keyboard, mouse and monitor up to 1000 feet away from the KVM switch. With optional IP module users can control their keyboard, mouse and monitor through internet. Some other features such as one local console port, Daisy chain capability, On Screen Display (OSD) menu, password security, Searching PC server name, hotkey control, push button and auto-scan control, complete keyboard and mouse emulation for simultaneously PC boot-up processes.
The KVM uses standard CAT5 cable to save cable layout and cable installation cost.
