PICMG 1.3 brings the high tranfer rate of system bus as the PCI Express technology, for the heavy duty of media stream server, DVR system and other communication system.
BPE-1308A provides total 13 slots, for 8 PCI slots, 3 PCI-E 1x slots, and 1 PCI-E 16x slot. The PCI slots supports 5V manufacturer of power supply for high performance video capture cards.
The backplane also provides onboard two USB ports and two SATA connectors manufacturers for additional devices.
An SHB is powered by the backplane through ATX/BTX 24pin connector and a power button is ready onboard to turn the system on after shut down, just like with a desktop industrial motherboard.
