Maximelder-R is a safety Level Switch which controls the maximum level in water tanks permanently in conjunction with a probe. The connection of the probe to the control unit is via a 2-core cable with a maximum permissible length of 50 m. The control unit is equipped with a green mains ‚on’ indicator lamp and a red ‚alarm’ lamp as well as a test and mute button. In the event of an alarm condition a loud, far reaching audible alarm can be heard and the red alarm lamp lights up. A voltage-free output relay is incorporated for the transmission of the alarm signal to other additional remote alarm units. The Maximelder-R is suitable for use in ambient temperatures from -5 °C to +55 °C and requires a 230 V AC mains supply.
