AGME automated assembly machine for inserting screws AGME

AGME manufactures assembly machines for inserting screws into automotive components. This machine is composed of four workstations where the insertion process is automated in a fast and simple way.

In the first station the components are supplied through a ramp. Then in the following workstation the screws and parts are fed automatically by an ABB robot.

After that, in the third station, the screws are inserted automatically by an AGME MPH-5 mini hydraulic press. This process is guaranteed by a quality assurance system that has a force cell and a linear transducer.

Finally, in the fourth station the automatic ejection to a conveyor belt is done by the ABB robot.

The main components of this automated assembly solution are:

- A rotary indexing table
- A system to place the part in the centre of the plate.
- Selection devices
- A part lifting feeding system
- One ABB robot and a clamp system for handling
- One AGME mini hydraulic press MPH-5
- A Quality Assurance System

This AGME solution makes it possible the screws insertion automation and obtaining homogeneous assembled parts. In this way the production time decreases and the final quality of the assembled components is guaranteed.
