AGME riveting machines for assembling automotive components AGME
This automatic assembly rotary transfer machine was designed and manufactured for a leading automotive component supplier.
The process performed is the automatic assembling of a range of automotive exhaust components
This special purpose machine is composed of the following features:
- Rigid welded machine base
- Rotary table with variable torque
- Sub-table with 6 stations
- Set of 6 fixtures suitable for three different styles of components
- Component presence sensing in the fixtures
In Station number 1 there is a manual feeding of two brackets. Then in station 2 the two brackets are sealed. The checking of the presence of the components are done in station 3.
After that in station 4 AGME radial riveting units rivet the two sides of the part and the automatic unloading of the parts is done in station 5. Finally in Station 6 there is an automatic feeding of the rubber part and rivet subassembly.
Thanks to this special purpose machine the automation of the assembly process and the decrease of time production are done.
Furthermore, the homogeneity of all compnents is achieved.
