Many users today have a need for simple temperature measurement.
If there are no high demands on the measurement device, there are numerous
low cost devices in all variations. However this often means a compromise in
quality and accuracy, and this is often overlooked. The new Ahlborn series
ALMEMO 2450 offers a contrast to conventional measurement techniques. The
devices are functional and don’t make any compromises on the measured data.
In addition, the devices are designed for a very long life and enable
connection of additional detection, eg for the measurement of humidity. Even
after purchase, the device can be enhanced with further additional sensors.
In addition to reliable measurement data and an affordable price, Ahlborn
also offer calibration of equipment in their in house-DKD (German
Calibration) laboratory. The temperature detection (Pt 100, Ntc, NiCr-Ni, etc.)
is wired in to a smart connector supplier, which enables the inaccuracies of the
sensors to be programmed out to nearly zero. Correction values are stored in
each sensor's memory which is located in the plug, so the probe becomes
fully interchangeable. The measurement data can be stored for later analysis
in the device.
