Friday 20th June professional saw another exciting milestone in the expansion of Alphasense. Customers, suppliers and guests gathered to mark the official opening of the outstanding, new manufacturing and development facility at Skyline 120, Great Notley, Essex.

Guests were greeted with a celebratory breakfast and then enjoyed a day touring the new factory which included seeing the state-of-the-art equipment and operational processes. Impressed by Alphasense's investment in the automatic test and validation (ATAV) system and multi-channel VOC professional generator, a visit to the industrial building services control room demonstrated to guests how the Company also maintains its green credentials by tightly controlling the working environment to ensure utmost efficiency and comfort at all times.

Much lively conversation was sparked by the tour with customers noting that Alphasense had not only succeeded in providing an existing service second-to-none but, with the stunning new facility, had anticipated future requirements for many years to come. After the tour, guests mingled with Alphasense Directors and staff. A caricature artist was on hand to capture the event in a unique way, while one of Alphasense’s talented staff members snapped informal shots throughout the afternoon.
