ALTECH AT IPACK-IMA 2012 ALTECH

ALTECH will be present at IPACK-IMA, which will take place from 28 February to 3 March 2012 in the Exhibition Complex at Rho-Pero, on the outskirts of Milan. On its stand C51-D56 in Hall 24 the company will highlight a wide and articulated range of self-adhesive, sleeve and linerless systems, for material decoration and identification.

The linerless technology will be highlighted by ALTECH, which will display, a print/apply unit called ALcode LL. This unit offers the great advantages of adhesive material without siliconated backing: a lower cost per label, no paper waste, increased length of the work runs.

As to self-adhesive systems, from the economical ALstep and the more performing ALritma heads, through the ALcode print/apply systems, to the more sophisticated ALbelt, ALline and ALpharma models, the company will display a concrete range of working labelling systems for packaging and logistics used in a large number of different sectors, including the food, chemical, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.

Further interesting technical improvements have been made to ALsleeve, an applicator of plastic heat-shrink sleeves providing both tamper evident protection of food, cosmetic and chemical products and high-speed decoration of the products themselves.

In the specific sector of product identification and traceability, ALTECH will present:

. The long-established print/apply ALcode and ALritmaT ranges;

. A pallet labelling system, ALcode P, able to apply A5 labels onto two adjacent faces of a pallet, at over 120 pallets/hour.

. ALcode LT, a print/apply unit fitted with the low-cost SATO LT 408 printing unit, which makes it ideal for all those applications where compactness and low costs are primary needs
