The US Department of Defense has granted APEM a QPL certification for its 12000X778 series professional grade toggle switches.

The Qualified Products List (QPL) lists specific part numbers which the manufacturer has demonstrated a capability to manufacture reliably and in compliance with his/her own internal requirements and the military specifications. APEM has more P/Ns than competition in the QPL3950 and in the QPL83731 lists: 380 different 12000X778 Part Numbers, covering two, three and four pole configurations. This certification will make the choice of APEM products really easier for any subcontractor supplying the US Army, the US Navy, the Air Force, but also the NASA.

About the APEM 12000X778 series
This switch features a double shell case for superior mechanical strength and high electrical insulation and a pinned lever for added strength and to ensure a strong electrical ground to the bushing. The 12000X778 toggle switching has a front panel sealing that meets IP67 specifications. Reliability and long life is obtained through electrical contacts made from gold plated, solid silver alloy rivets. The switch is suited for both low level applications (10mA 50mV) and power applications (2A 250VAC – 4A 125VAC) with an electrical life of 20,000 to 150,000 cycles. All models feature a rugged 11,9mm (15/32”) mounting bushing.
