PUNCHING LINE OF MACH 3 Apollo

The TWIN is a numerical control machine for punching pipes and tubular; it can be supplied with 2 and 3 heads.
In the innovative 3-head version, it can contemporarily punch the four sides of a tubular, with the possibility to perform two different holes, at the desired interaxes, by simply programming the working cycle on the programmer.
The simple programming also allows to exclude the vertical head or the horizontal ones. This versatility of the TWIN enables different types of work according to the client’s demands.
The bars are positioned through a wagon equipped with vice; the length of the bars can vary from 0,60 up to 9 meters, the punching is rapidly performed on the whole length of the pipe with a tolerance on the programmed quotas of ± 0,2 mm from the first hole to the last one on a length of 3000 mm.
The TWIN is supplied with different complementary accessories, according to the client’s different working demands; the changing of the size is performed in less than 30 minutes.
It can be equipped with a store of bundle bars and complete with a double vice manipulator for loading and unloading the pipes; this accessory makes the Twin fully automatic.
It is the first time that the company Apollo Srl has produced a CNC Cartesian axis manipulator for loading tubes to be punched and unloading already punched tubes on two pallets.
It is placed next to our punching line Twin, leading model of our production.
It allows to quickly change the size for the transfer of the tubes by means of a single magnetic gripper for all sizes, thus enabling the tubes to be precisely and rapidly positioned.
This manipulator makes the punching line fully automatic with a safe positioning.
