The London Borough of Hillingdon takes delivery of an additional four new Applied 636 Hi-Speed Green Machines, to compliment the existing fleet of three Applied 525HS units and bringing the total number of 636HS machines to six.

These ‘sub-compact’ industrial sweepers will be operated throughout the Borough to help sustain high standard of cleanliness. The Hillingdon Green Machine fleet is also fully maintained by Applied Sweepers under a fully comprehensive service contract, to ensure the Green Machines are available for daily street cleansing duties.

The 636Hi-Speed Green Machine offers excellent sweeping performance whilst remaining quiet, light and maneuverable. The machine incorporates many unique features such as the IQAN electronic Machine Management Unit and ‘Vari-Track’ extending front wheel track system. There is full road suspension on all professional wheels and travel speeds of up to 20mph can be accomplished safely, with excellent vehicle stability.
