APV DELTA AP1 aseptic valve – for longer life and greater flexibility
An easy-to-service aseptic cock with enhanced reliability is now a reality.
The new APV DELTA AP1 aseptic valve features a flat PTFE industrial diaphragm, 3A and EHEDG certification, and a number of efficiency-enhancing attributes.
The DELTA AP1 valve body and actuator manufacturers material is in stainless steel 1.4404 with a surface roughness of Ra <0.8 micron. A high-end version is available for tough environments featuring a surface roughness of Ra <0.5 micron, a stainless steel actuator and 3.1 certification.
Long-lasting diaphragm reduces downtime
Downtime is inevitable when a diaphragm breaks. The APV DELTA API employs a new, unique professional fan support system ensuring significantly longer diaphragm lifetime and reduced spare parts costs. In addition, the support system enables production pressures up to 10 bar through mechanical support of the diaphragm in all positions from completely open to completely closed. This also means that the diaphragm is less sensitive to pressure shocks.
Smooth and flexible with reduced cleaning time
The flat diaphragm is built for reliability, ensuring smooth product flow and reducing pressure drops. The flexibility of the design means that it can even be used even for high-fibre products. The flatness of the design minimises product-wetted surface, and reduces cleaning time as well as consumption of CIP agents.
Easy to service
Easy serviceability was a key feature when developing this valve. The clamp housing closure enables quick and easy service, thus minimising maintenance costs, and the flexible air pipe connection helps to avoid untidy installations and reduces cabling costs.
