Aucotec AG expands AUCOTEC

New subsidiary in France, new branch office in Munich

After a strong sales growth in the past fiscal year and with profits still rising this year, the software specialist for engineering systems Aucotec now also grows spatially. With the establishment on 1 January 2012 of its sixth subsidiary, the French AUCOTEC S.à.r.l., the presence in France is to be distinctly improved and enlarged. The site selected for this purpose was Dijon, located centrally and directly at the French industrial belt.

"The market is very interesting, and actually we have been en route in France for a number of years. Our product Engineering Base precisely meets the requirements of the local enterprises, yet it is something quite different to be present in France also as a French supplier. This is going to distinctly promote our activities", says General Manager Djibi Dia, with Aucotec since 14 years and now head of the new subsidiary. The proximity offers advantages also for already existing companies such as Alstom/Schneider, EADS Astrium or the cabinet specialist Comeca.

In the medium range we plan an expansion of the engineering and sales staff to up to 15 staff members. Jerôme Anguenot, Technical Director in Dijon, has already had first talks with job applicants. In any case the new Aucotec presence is prepared for the expansion.

Customer proximity with a tradition
The new Aucotec AG branch office at the former site of the München-Riem airport, opened on 1 December 2011, is also expandable. Its head, Thomas Salitz, who apart from the turnover already also focuses on the possible expansion, looks forward to his new job: "Mechanical engineering and especially the process industry and the transport sector are very strong in the South. And since in these areas we are very strong in terms of engineering and are growing continuously, we further approach the market also spatially."

Aucotec board member Markus Bochynek adds: "With the expansion to France and within Germany we uncompromisingly continue our tradition of customer proximity, which we maintain since more than 25 years. We owe most of our successes to our close cooperation with the customers – and that is supposed to stay that way."
