Peristaltic pump company rebrands

Autoclude Pumps is now a division of Verder Limited, a move that is not only beneficial to both companies but also to its customers as well. “With virtually no product overlap, the Autoclude brand represents an attractive complement to the products in our liquids division”, said Andries Verder, CEO of the Verder Group. The combined attributes of these two companies strengthens the position of both in the forefront of the peristaltic pump market.

The Autoclude business brings considerable manufacturing aptitude to the Verder Group. In its brand new manufacturing unit in Basildon, Essex, the company manufactures three ranges of hose pumps. These are aimed at the general industrial, the scientific and the OEM markets.

Best manufacturing practices are assured at the Basildon factory thanks to the adoption of proven business tools and techniques for lean manufacturing. Autoclude-Verder has implemented programmes to bring sustained order and efficiency to the workplace and the initiative includes process improvement through kaizen, value-stream mapping and quality control.

The results have been evidenced by a reduction in lead time, assured quality, the generation of less waste material and greater operational efficiency.
