Axon’ Cable which is EN 9100 approved, manufactures all components (cables, couplers, connectors,…) useful for data transmission systems in compliance with the MIL-STD-1553 standard.

From the cable to the connector
Axon’ Bus harnesses are made with screened twisted-pair cables. They ensure good EMI protection. Bus harnesses also integrate couplers.
Axon’ offers different types of couplers: in-line couplers, dismountable couplers, rackable couplers and relay couplers.
In-line couplers are an excellent weight/price compromise. Dismountable couplers make the junction between several sub-systems. Easy to use, they are an ideal solution to prototype manufacture. Rackable couplers fit to the existing fixation system. They particularly meet the requirements of aeronautics standard racks in civil and military aircraft.
Relay couplers allow disconnected devices to be driven without affecting the other remote terminals. This is the case for example when the test bench on the ground is connected to an aircraft.
Axon’ also offers a range of connectors easy to crimp for MIL-STD-1553 bus assemblies.

From the design to the validation
- Validation and topology: from the design, Axon’ can carry out the study of the topology of the transmission network. The company owns calculating means to simulate the working of the bus assembly.
- Manufacturing workshop under the CNES control (French National Centre for Space Studies).
- High quality and validation: all the assemblies are tested on an automatic test bench. This test bench has been designed by Axon’. Axon’ can also offer a portable test bench, useful for its customers when integrating assemblies in aircraft.
