B+B Thermo-Technik has now a stationary infrared temperature measurement device for use at hot ambient temperatures up to 250°C without refrigeration. The new highly robust DM101 D hot uses new sensing materials and high temperature cables which withstand these extreme ambient conditions. Thanks to its relatively small dimensions, the sensor head can be installed in confined conditions such as those present for example in thermal processing plants, where the measurements are taken directly within the processing chambers.
With its measurement range up to 975°C, this compact infrared temperature measurement device can also be used to monitor the temperature in industrial ovens. It excels with an optical resolution of 10 : 1 and a response time of only 100 ms. It has also a universal output which can be programmed to be an analogous voltage output (0..10V), current output (0(4)…20mA) or thermocouple manufacturers type K or J output. Optionally it can be equipped with a USB interface (delivered together with the corresponding Professional software) for PC communications.
The compact infrared temperature measurement device DM101 D offers an easy and rapid solution for monitoring the temperature of mobile parts in hot ambient conditions. Temperature deviations can be rapidly and easily detected and correspondingly the quality ensured.
