The digital testers of the series DxR are manual instruments. They are easy to use since they have been specifically designed for testing electrical machines and coils. DS incorporate two tests, surge/impulse and DC high potential with leakage current measurement and insulation resistance, and DxR incorporate three tests, surge/impulse and DC high potential with leakage current measurement and insulation resistance and resistance measurement for resistance of coil.


Test results and waveforms can be stored in the tester's memory, they can be printed directly on a standard printer
or transferred to a PC.
