The EVERSWITCH touch metal keypad for white appliances, integrated in an innovative ceramic Smoothtop cooktop, has been awarded the 2009 product design award by Red Dot.

Barantec / EVERSWITCH had developed white appliance control panels for Siemens/Bosch ceramic glass cooktops, which is described as “especially developed touch sensors presents itself not only visually but also user friendly and elegant”.

The EVERSWITCH Metaltouch™ white appliance controls presents the most advanced features such as slide control and feather touch activation. The metal controller is easy to use, easy to clean, IP69K rated, with no moving parts and non-removable printing.

With an integrated interface, the keypad is a plug and play unit for the complete function of the cooktop.

The EVERSWITCH is ESD protected, not affected by Electro Magnetic Discharge, humidity or condensation and water will not interfere with its operation, it can be activated with gloves, and will operate at -40C to +125C.
