Flexibility is the key word for the new level professional switch UNS1000-BN18 TC from Barksdale. Based on a telescopic design, this allows easy setting of any level in hydraulic tanks and enclosures. A second advantage is a reduced inventory holding because a fewer number of switches need to be stocked to cover individual OEM requirements.

The incorporation of a temperature switching in the UNS1000-BN18 TC provides monitoring of the temperature of hydraulic fluid an important factor in ensuring performance of hydraulic systems.

The telescopic design makes it possible to cover lengths from 190 to 630 mm with only three supplier of level switches. The compact level switch has a brass stem and an NBR-float resistant against oil. A level and a temperature switch contact (bi-metal switch) are incorporated in the switch stem.
Other features are the process connection of G½“, an industrial electrical cable connection Ø 4x 0, 25 mm2 PUR and a screw connection in PA. The contact rating of the level and temperature switch is 24 V AC/DC, max. 1 A or max. 20 VA/W. The standard temperature set point is +60 Deg C, but other switch contacts are also available at +70 Deg C, +80 Deg C and +90 Deg.
