With an annual growth rate of 20 %, the Polish profile manufacturer Poli-Eco Tworzywa Sztuczne Sp. z. o.o., Zary, has won a prize three times in a row since 2004 as the fastest growing regional enterprise. Battenfeld Extrusion-stechnik GmbH, Bad Oeynhausen, which has been supplying tailor-made complete extrusion systems to the PVC processor for the last ten years, has contributed substantially to this success.

At present, Poli-Eco operates a total of 29 extrusion lines from Bad Oeynhausen and only 5 additional lines of other brands. Almost all lines are operated as twin-strand extrusion lines to cope with the company’s annual production of 16,000 tons of pro-files. In 2007, the last fiscal year, the plastics processor realized about 40 million EUR in sales. "For this year, we have actually planned a 25% increase in sales, up to a total figure of 51 million EUR", explains the company’s Managing Director, Krzysztof Szymanski. This means that Poli-Eco is determined to further strengthen its market position as one of the three leading profile manufacturers in Poland.

"We have great confidence in the technical expertise of Battenfeld Extrusionstech-nik", Szymanski goes on to explain the “equipment monoculture” on his production floor. In the past, Poli-Eco installed three or four new extrusion lines from Bad Oeynhausen every year. Four new lines have already been started up in the course of this year too. Szymanski even goes a step further by saying: "We wish to set up a “partnership agreement” with Battenfeld Extrusionstechnik which will include ser-vicing." About 20 of the lines already installed in Poland are miniBEX lines.
