The highly compact power drive (45mmx78mmx105mm) is used where little mounting space is available. Single supply voltage operating range is between 24V...80V motor voltage and a motor current of 1.25A...5A. Different step resolutions up to 2000 micro steps / revolution can be set with DIP professional switches. The control interface is step(pulse) and direction.
The smdx75 drive generation covers a wide range of motor types. All commonly used 2 phase and 3 phase stepper motor manufacturers types can therefore be operated. The drive series features excellent running perfomance such as low resonance, high step angle accuracy as well as and high and constant torque from step to step. The phase control circuit is bipolar, there is no noise emission. Multiple safety features are implemented such as an active ballast circuit at overvoltage conditions through regen-energy. An automatic current reduction function can be activated at stand still.
The mounting is either done wallmount or with a DIN-rail clip. All electrical connections are removables screw terminal interconnectors easily accessible on the front panel. The smd275 power drive is also availble in an open frame version that is even more cost optimized.
