A genuine live wire
The newly developed Bihler bush forming unit RM 40B will set new standards in the areas of flexibility and productivity in bush manufacturing. Four hundred bushes per minute are no problem whatsoever for the high-performance wonder day in, day out and in proven Bihler top quality.
Perfectly designed for the manufacture of cylindrical, straight and flanged bushes the RM 40B can produce bushes without problems from 6 to 18 mm in diameter and up to a maximum of 40 mm in long. The machine speed varies depending on the type of bush. If the speed, for flanged bushes (collared bushes), is at 250 rpm, it climbs to approximately 400 rpm for cylindrical, straight bushes. In general, the machine speed is infinitely adjustable from 5 to a maximum of 400 rpm.
The extremely compact basic machine is equipped with a work plate with six drive positions on the front side. A precise mechanical gripper feed unit with hydraulic clamping for strip widths up to a maximum of 30 mm and maximum thickness of 1.5 mm, a BRA-II-75 strip professional straightener, a 7-ton 8 mm stroke two-point eccentric press, two positively-controlled normal industrial slide units with a nominal force of 3 tons and 25 mm stroke, a central mandrel with 3-ton nominal force and 50 mm stroke, a 6-ton transverse professional press with 35 mm stroke, a rotary bench drive for 8 stations (partitions) and user and personnel protection.
