Specifically designed for a wide range of applications the multi-functional GRM 80P with new machine concept stands out for decisively more productivity, flexibility and profitability as well as for its 100% compatibility with the tools of its successful predecessors GRM 50, GRM 80 and GRM 80E.

With the two-point eccentric press unit arranged aside the work plate there is much more space available on the GRM 80P. Thus the entire width of the plate can be used for various forming and assembly operations. Depending on the application, processing units with different nominal forces and strokes can be integrated into the manufacturing process. In order to solve highly complexe tasks, there is now even more space available for the integration of all Bihler key technologies as e.g. splicer, screw-insertion, tapping, etc. The two-point eccentric professional press unit is also perfectly designed for this progressive manufacturing system. The press offers a lot of installation space for longer threading sets. The extended central opening in the workplate allows various central mandrels to be integrated flexibly.

In order to minimize changeover times, all processing units are equipped with a quick-tool change system. The housing’s stiffness increases part precision and the tools’ lifetime. The highly flexible multi-axes control VC 1 allows easy handling of the system and guarantees highest process security.
