Z-SAFE, an rfid Warning system for industrial use Bioaccez Controls

The Z-SAFE system is a set of active badges for workers and receivers for vehicles or machines, which reduce the risk of collision in the workplace around a vehicle or a machine, warning the driver of a presence of a worker in the surroundings.

The badges carried by workers create a “safety zone around them”. The detection range of the receiver is adjustable. When a tag is detected in the vicinity, a contact relay output is activated, and it can provide a warning activating a siren and/or a SAFE light.

By detecting objects within close proximity of the vehicle the risk of a collision is reduced and injury or collision may be avoided.

Characteristics of the Z-tag-Badge:

• Worn by personnel
• Badge format (also bracelet, pendant or ruggedized tag)
• Built-in Batteries
• No need to charge. Battery life 4,5 years
• Transmits signal only (no local alarm)

Characteristics of the Z-CONTROLLER:

• Fitted to Vehicle or Machinery
• Provides Relay contact (connectable to Audible/Visual Alarm).
• Receives the signal of the tags
• IP67 (Box)
• 9V/ 12V/24V DC operation

The Z-SAFE Rfid warning system provides an effective method of helping to protect, vehicles, machinery, people and property from injury and damage resulting from collision. The system has a wide range of applications that involve forklifts, cranes, heavy vehicles and moving machinery that must work in close proximity of people.

The Z-SAFE Rfid detection and warning system is user-configurable. The user can set the size of the desired safety zone as required for the application. The typical range is from around 2m to over 25m. The system works with radiofrequency, so the presence of smoke, fog or dust does not influence the system.

Advantages:

• Outdoor/Indoor use
• Operates in smoke, dust, rain
• Not distracts driver from operations
• System uses real-time data ID by radiofrequency
• Safety zones are individually adjustable
• Long battery life (4,5 years)
  • zoom
