How It’s Done

Bolttech’s innovative technology allows the removal and tightening of four (4) bolts instantaneously instead of the traditional two (2) at a time. Our process reduces heating time by more than 1/3.

The Bolttech Induction Bolt Heating System is packaged in a portable self-contained industrial cart that can be rolled up next to a steam or gas turbine. It consists of a closed-loop system so there is no need for a water supply or drains to be added at the location. A chiller is brought to the job site for water cooling, further reducing the amount of time needed. The system inductively heats turbine bolts for rapid assembly and disassembly of the HP, IP inner and outer shells, stop valves, suppliers of control valves and choke valves.
