BONO ENERGIA supplies three water-tube packaged boilers for TJK JV constituted by TECHNIP France, JGC Japan &KBR USA for an LNG PLANT of YEMEN LNG COMPANY LTD located in BAL HAF, in the Republic of Yemen.
Technip, a French company resulting from the merger of two former leaders in the engineering sector, ranks among the 5 major players worldwide in full-service engineering and construction services in the field of hydrocarbons and petrochemicals. Moreover, it is one of the most integrated groups providing engineering, technologies and construction services to the oil/gas and petrochemical industry worldwide.
Technip, and its YEMGAS joint-venture with the Japanese company JGC and the U.S. KBR have won a more than $2 billion contract to build Yemen's first liquefied natural gas plant. The unit consists of two liquefaction trains of natural gas, which produce 6,7 millions of t/y of liquefied natural gas.
The JV, under the control and leadership of Technip, will be in charge for the execution of the contract, which includes the engineering, the supply of the equipments, the construction and the start-up of the plant.
BONO ENERGIA has been selected as a partner by Technip for the supply of three boilers rating 60 t/h (each) ,12 bar, 210 °C superheated steam for the liquefaction trains of natural gas for the LNG plant.
The Scope of supply of BONO ENERGIA includes boilers pressure vessels, complete with low nox burners, economizers, industrial burners management systems and auxiliary equipment. The boilers will be fed by natural gas.
The units have been shipped at the end of June 2007, they have been locally erected and result from a close collaboration with Technip’s engineering staff.
