The FLYMILL series consists of four models: FLYMILL 1000, 1300, 1600 and 2000 that basically differ in the vertical travel and in the transversal travels measuring 2500mm, 4000mm and 3500mm, while standard longitudinal travels vary between 2000 and 8000mm, with possible extensions depending on specific applications. The large dimensioned table, the rigid structure and the large working range are ideal for machining single workpieces as well as batch machining operations with working axes feederate of 40 m/min, while rapid axes federate achieves 60 m/min. The twist Direct Drive heads, all with axis “C” continuous rotation, “A” axis rotating until 120°, 40kW power and rotation speed of up to 100 rpm, allow this machine to perform dynamic and complex machining operations. These heads allow to mill very easily in three dimensions and 5-axes simultaneously and to machine complex undercuts without repositioning the workpieces. High-performing electrospindles are available for the entire range of FLYMILL’s heads: with rotation speeds reaching up to 40.000 rpm and continuous torque up to 220 Nm. The FLYMILL series is designed to offer the user a wide working range although located in a limited factory space, and an excellent choice of machine accessories to customize production and machining requirements for many field of applications such as aerospace, automotive, die and mould, precision machining, etc...
