MATRIX designed for high speed milling

Fast, flexible and compact: Matrix, designed for high speed milling offers dynamic performance conceived with respect to the problems connected with logistics, especially useful for operators in the business of aerospace, automotive, dies and toolmaking.
The three models, 1300, 1000 and 800, offer a generous working volume X = 3900, Y = (2000÷8000), z = 1300 for MATRIX 1300, X = 2500, Y = (2000÷8000), Z = 1000 for MATRIX 1000 and X = 2000, Y =(1600-2500), Z = 800 for MATRIX 800, combining a compact size with dynamic performance that reaches 40 m/min and accelerations up to 3 m/s2 .
Thus the structure is able to ensure the best possible performance even where the work is subject to heavy stress. Respecting the Breton technical tradition of birotary heads, all with continuous rotation of the C axis, and with the A axis that can work in undercut ( rotation up to 105° with Traditional Head and -105° + 120° with Direct Drive Head), allow the MATRIX to carry out the most complex working processes, by operating with 5 axes simultaneously in the three dimensions. The new, more powerful and more dynamic DD birotary head, rotary speed up to 100 rpm, increases the Matrix 1000 and Matrix 1300 performances.
Particularly high performance spindles in continuous service, up to 40 kW and 100 Nm torque for the five-axes version and 220 Nm torque for the three-axes version with rotation speed up to 40,000 rpm., allow high speed both in the roughing and in the finishing phases, uninterruptedly. Thanks to the wide range of accessories available, any user can configure MATRIX according to his specific requirements and to his own production method.
