The Convir Thermosight Series, Now Available With A USB Interface
The high performance Convir Thermosight series of handheld infrared temperature measurement from Calex Electronics includes models suited for virtually all applications. To increase their flexibility they can also now provide a USB interface, allowing quick and easy connection to a PC.
Nine different models are available in the Thermosight series, starting with the Thermosight 400, 500 and 600 units. These models have temperature ranges from -32 to 400ºC, 500ºC and 600ºC respectively and have optics ranging from 10:1 to 30:1. They all have professional laser sighting, adjustable emissivity and large backlit professional displays.
The Thermosight 800 and 900 models can measure up to 800 and 900ºC respectively, both have a narrow 50:1 optics with concentric laser sighting. The Thermosight 900 offers the new USB interface, which can be used for continuous data monitoring on a PC or retrieving the stored values of the 900 plus model.
The Thermosight GL is designed for use in glass measurement applications. It has a temperature range from 150 to 1800ºC, with focused 50:1 optics and concentric laser sighting. It also offers the USB interface and the GL plus model has internal data storage.
The Thermosight HT model can measure from 250 to 1800ºC and operates at 1.45 to 1.8µm. This enables it to provide very high accuracy and makes it ideal for measuring metals. This model has a focused 200:1 field of view with concentric laser sighting. It also has internal storage for 750 measurement values and the USB interface.
