In the two years since Camspec announced the new-look M107 Visible Spectrophotometer, significant numbers of units have been sold to universities, water companies, and industrial laboratories. The high specification M107 (325-1000nm) has 5nm bandpass, 0.1% stray light at 340nm, and 1% absorbance accuracy 0A to 2A. The instrument has a large sample compartment and a comprehensive range of accessories for sample handling.

Tony Moss, Camspec's managing director, says: "The popularity of the M107 is due to accurate signal processing using microprocessor control, combined with the fundamental reliability of the instrument which is assured by the absence of motor drives - wavelength selection is by rotary control (which automatically selects the order sorting professional filters)."

The attractive style of the M107 cover has now been used for the recently announced M108 visible and M508 UV/visible spectrophotometers.
