Measuring systems from Oberkochen-based Carl Zeiss Industrielle Messtechnik GmbH deliver the necessary, highly accurate measuring results for practically all areas of the aerospace industry. Cmms and measuring professional software are optimally matched. GageMax® and CenterMax® are used in professional production to inspect machined parts; PRISMO® and ACCURA® in measuring labs to measure the turbine blades and wings. The large MMZ gantry measuring equipment are used to inspect elements of the airframe or the outer skin of the pressurized cabin.
Each ZEISS coordinate measuring machine comes standard with VAST® scanning technology. Together with CALYPSO® measuring and evaluation software, VAST optimizes measuring processes. It can deliver information on form, size and position in a single measuring run. ZEISS scanning technology is therefore the ideal measuring procedure for complex part geometries on aircraft engines.
Blade® Pro software is tailored to the special features encountered when measuring turbine blades and evaluation of the data on a computer. It also features, of course, extensive CAD capability. Blade Pro permits a comparison of profiles with different lengths, and enables the best possible determination of all parameters of a turbine blade. The mathematical best fit leaves no wish unfulfilled.
