With HOLOS® NT, Carl Zeiss Industrial Metrology offers modular, Windows-based software for the measurement of freeform surfaces. HOLOS NT enables operators to quickly generate a measuring program: it automatically industrial guides the user and interactively shows the way to mathematical alignment. Simply click on the measuring and reference points on the pictured part. The computer does the rest. The software can be expanded if necessary.

HOLOS Geo provides features for the manual measurement of standard geometries and the determination of form and position. HOLOS Light permits the measurement of simple freeform surfaces If CAD data is available, the workpiece is displayed on the monitor. HOLOS Lamp guides users to the measured points and shows the results in the workpiece graphic.

The measuring procedure can be completely automated with HOLOS Ectended. VBScript features permit external programming and the integration of customized automation concepts. HOLOS Digitize converts a model to CAD data quickly and highly accurately, captures changes and permits sampling. Integrated into existing HOLOS models, the digitized features are directly available for quality inspection with HOLOS NT. They can also be exported in other data formats.
