Caterpillar Inc. introduces the new C6.6 diesel-fueled industrial generator set, rated at 114–150 ekW. With ACERT™ Technology, this generator set is capable of meeting Tier 3 emissions compliance without sacrificing performance or fuel economy. Caterpillar’s 125 ekW model will be one of the first to market with Tier 3 certification.

The C6.6 features an EMCP 3 controller that communicates directly with an ADEM™ A4 Electronic Control Module for advanced troubleshooting. It provides 3-5 dBA engine noise reduction, excellent fuel economy, lower oil consumption and extended service intervals of up to 500 hours. The C6.6 power packs can be open or closed with sound attenuation and weatherproof.
