Conax Technologies announces the addition of a one-inch diameter Electrode Gland Teflon (EGT) model, the EGT-1000, to its extensive line of electrode sealing feethroughs for gas or non-conductive liquids.
The EGT-1000 is a heavy-duty electrical feedthrough for vacuum kilns, liquid level probes, professional transformer, environmental chambers power leads and more. Designed to electrically or thermally isolate electrodes, tubes or manufacturer of temperature sensors, the EGT-1000 operates in a temperature range from -300° F to +450° F (-185° C to 232° C) and pressures from vacuum to 120 psi at 68° F (20° C) The insulator consists of a one-piece continuous Teflon industrial sealant. The electrode is available in stainless steel, rated at 72 amp, or copper, rated at 525 amp, at 8000 volts. Both are available in a standard length of 10 inches, standard diameter of .995 inch. Gland body with mounting thread of 1-1/4 inch NPT is standard. The assembly may be purchased with or without the electrode. Conax’s exclusive “soft sealant” technology enables easy assembly or replacement in the field.
Conax Technologies also offers an extensive selection of standard and custom-engineered wire and probe professional seals, in various materials and mounting styles. Catalogued assemblies seal up to 16 elements, depending on diameter size. Every Conax feedthrough delivers rugged, reliable service with superior performance at off-the-shelf pricing and turn-around times.
