Sterimaster Sensor, Stainless Steel Armor for Pharmaceutical Autoclave
Conax offers the Sterimaster chamber/load temperature sensor manufacturers for accurate monitoring of temperatures in the rigorous environmental conditions found in pharmaceutical autoclave manufacturer chambers, in particular, steam and water cascading sterilizers. Sterimaster uses a unique moisture industrial seal engineered to prevent the ingress of moisture into the sensor. The same technology is also used to prevent leakage of steam/condensate through the bulkhead connection. These conditions are leading causes of sensor failure in chamber/load probes.
Sterimaster's unique moisture seal offers a reliability factor surpassing anything previously obtainable. Every weld undergoes NDT examination, and each completed assembly is leak tested. In addition, a flexible stainless steel armored exterior provides additional protection during transport or frequent handling. Sterimaster ensures accurate temperature logging and product validation despite the challenging conditions typical in these applications.
Sterimaster uses PTFE-insulated stranded leadwire conductors with a thick-walled extruded professional silicone rubber jacket encased in a 316SST sheath. It operates in the temperature range of -50 degrees C to +150 degrees C(-58 degrees F to +302 degrees F) and pressure range from vacuum to 3.5 bar (50 psig).
