Conax Technologies introduces Sterisensor™, a new chamber/load temperature sensor manufacturers, thermocouple or INDUSTRIAL RTD assembly designed to withstand the environmental conditions found in pharmaceutical suppliers of autoclave chambers. Sterisensor features a moisture professional seal engineered to prevent the ingress of moisture into the assembly. Moisture is the leading cause of failure in these applications.

Sterisensor uses PTFE-insulated stranded leadwire conductors with a thick-walled extruded professional silicone rubber jacket encased in a 316SST sheath. It operates in the temperature range of -50°C to +150°C (-58°F to +302°F) and pressure range from vacuum to 3.5 bar (50 psig).

Thermocouple Type T or RTD, 100 Ohms @ 0°C, .00385 Ohms/Ohms/°C calibrations are available, in a variety of sensor lengths and diameters configured to meet application requirements. Custom assemblies are also available.
