Mini PC 325i – 2x Full HD with 1x Mini PC CONCEPT International GmbH
The Munich-based company CONCEPT International GmbH, specialist for mobile and fanless IT solutions, is now expanding its product range with a powerful Mini PC with NVIDIA’s high-performance GeForce ION graphics chip and Intel’s 2.5 GHz Core 2 Duo CPU. It has two digital monitor connectors (DVI/HDMI) and allows the simultaneous and jerk-free display of different Full HD contents on two screens. This makes the Mini PC 325i perfect for use in the digital signage environment.
The centrepiece of the Mini PC 325i is NVIDIA’s high-performance ION graphics chip, which promises high energy efficiency and a graphics performance up to 10 times greater than conventionally integrated graphics chips. Combined with Intel’s fast 2.5 GHz dual core processor, Full HD contents such as MPEG4/H.264-compressed videos, flash films and scrolling texts are depicted smoothly as a result. Thanks to the two digital DVI and HDMI monitor connections, the simultaneous display of different Full HD contents on two displays is also enabled. The Mini PC consequently lends itself for use as a space-saving and cost-saving media player in kiosk terminals with double-sided displays or multi-screens.
Thanks to its utilisation of FlashROMs or SSDs, the Mini PC 325i functions without moving parts, which means a maintenance-free and long-lasting 24-hour operation is achieved. Its additional technical features include 4x USB 2.0 for the installation of accessories or peripheral devices as well as a serial port. In addition to a 1 GB LAN port that allows interruption-free high-definition video streaming and the option of cable-free communication, an 802.11n WLAN or UMTS module is also included for communication in networks.
At the same time, with its compact dimensions (14.8 x 16.5 x 5.5 cm) – about as large as three DVD jackets lying on top of each other – the Mini PC 325i remains a genuine Mini PC and is therefore predestined for installation situations where space is limited.
Windows XP Professional, Windows Embedded and Windows 7 are available as operating systems, which permits the problem-free implementation of standard software thanks to the Intel platform.
