CONEC introduces the newly developed MicroTCA power output connectors specification.
Two types have been developed in accordance with
MTCA. 0 specifications.
One version is the connector for use on daughter card application and the mating connector being the second version for use on backplane applications.
The contact configuration consists of two rows of twelve power contacts carrying 9.3Amp per contact with a maximum temperature rise of 30 degree C (80% derating in accordance with IEC 60 512).
72 Signal contacts are part of the configuration for system management use.
The contact footprint is symmetric and the mating side is plug in compatible within the MTCA.0 specification.
Contact tails are press fit design utilizing the eye of the needle design; flat rock press fit tooling is available for connector installation.
CONEC part numbers: For the connectors right angle version for use on daughter card
part number 47-100011 and the straight version for use on backplane is part number 47-100001.
