CONTEC, a leading manufacturer of computer peripheral equipment, industrial computers and network devices, is pleased to announce the release of new analog input board for PCI that achieves 10MSPS(100nsec) per input channels as the latest family member of its measurement and control products. The sample rate of 10MSPS (100nsec) is fastest among all Contec’s analog devices.

Contec AI-1204Z-PCI is ideal for data sampling of testing a high-speed device. It provides a much higher aggregate sampling rate compared to traditional multiplexed data acquisition devices. This product features the sample rate of 10MSPS (100nsec), which is 10 times as fast as the current analog input board AD16-16U(PCI).


Contec AI-1204Z-PCI includes 4 simultaneously sampled analog inputs. This product also has a high capacity memory buffer (32M word) and bus master transfer function, allowing a high-speed continuous data logging.


Sampling can be controlled by software, conversion data comparison (Level, in-range and out-range comparison), external trigger and event controller output. BNC connector is used to directly connect to signal source. Also this product includes four digital inputs and outputs. (Optional cable DT-3E is separately required.) In addition to aforementioned functions, AI-1204Z-PCI includes a synchronization control connector, a termination resistor and a digital filter.

CONTEC's AI-1204Z-PCI is lead-free (exceeding JEITA Phase 2 requirements) and are RoHS-compliant.
