The all-metal sensors in size M8 for embeddable and non-embeddable mounting are now also available with S12 connector supplier. These inductive Contrinex devices feature a one-piece stainless-steel housing, thus eliminating the most important weak spot of conventional sensors, i.e. the normally relatively fragile plastic sensing face. As a result, these devices are mechanically and chemically very rugged and resist operating pressures of up to 100 bar (850 psi). In addition, they feature long operating distances of 3 mm (embeddable) and 6 mm (non-embeddable) on steel and aluminum.
