Criterion Machine Works expands offering of Metric Boring Heads

Criterion Machine Works, Costa Mesa, CA, announced the expansion of their line of metric drill bit heads. They added one model to the SGL-38 series of boring heads, one model to the DBL-50 series of boring heads and one model to the DBL-76 series of boring heads. All three series of boring heads feature direct reading dial adjustment. The dials are graduated in 0,02mm increments on diameter.
The SGL-38 series covers a boring range from 3mm to 40mm in diameter. The original SGL-38 series of boring head use a 12mm diameter shank boring bar while the new boring head in the SGL-38 series use 16mm diameter shank boring rods.
The DBL-50 series covers a boring range from 3mm to 173mm in diameter. The original DBL-50 series of boring head use a 12mm diameter shank boring bar while the new boring head in the DBL-50 series use 10mm diameter shank boring bars.
The DBL-76 series covers a boring range from 12mm to 279mm in diameter. The original DBL-76 series of boring head use a 20mm diameter shank boring bar while the new boring head in the DBL-76 series use 16mm diameter shank boring bars.
