The travelling column plane surface grinders of the MINI line are advanced technology machines designed and built to assure high production capacity, precision and reliability.

The project, carried out with CAD and finite element analysis systems, is modular and provides the models Mini12 and Mini15
with maximum grinding surfaces of 1300x650 and 1600x650 mm.

The T-structure of the highest rigidity is made from stress-relieved Meehanite cast iron.

All machine axis slideways (table, column and wheelhead) are hydrostatic. The hydrostatic lubrication, eliminating sliding friction, allows to use all the power installed and to achieve extremely regular and precise movements without wear and stickslip effects.

Table slideways are fully supported by machine base at all times to assure the highest precision.

The same principle holds true for the transversal axis (column) and vertical axis (wheelhead) way systems.
