Densitron introduce CMO's new LED backlight 10.4" and 12.1" high-resolution TFT displays

London, Friday 26 June 2009: Customer demands for high-resolution TFT displays is greater than ever, so CMO have responded by introducing an 10.4-inch and a 12.1-inch XGA (1024 x 768 pixels) thin-film transistor (TFT) colour liquid crystal display (LCD). Both displays feature LED backlight and the LED backlight lifetime are specified at a 50K hours minimum.

The 10.4-inch XGA module (G104X1-L04) incorporates CMO's latest MVA technology, is based on in-plane switching (IPS) technology, and achieves a wide viewing angle range of 176 degrees. Brightness is 500 cd/m² with a high contrast ratio of 1200:1. Operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C. Meanwhile, the 12.1- inch XGA module (G121X1-L03) features brightness, 500 cd/m², 700:1 contrast ratio, expanded viewing angles, 160 degrees and an extended operating temperature range of -30°C to +70°C.
