Enhanced Air Cargo Screening with X-Cards Detection Technology

Detection Technology expands its advanced dual energy X-Card family and provides now a complete detector solution also for air cargo, light vehicle and full body scanning. The cost-effective X-Card family offers optimized performance in terms of penetration, contrast and resolution.

Dual energy X-Card series includes now a complete range of detector cards for security applications; with pixel pitch ranging from 0.8 mm to 2.5 mm. Readout electronics with Ethernet and USB interfaces completes the detector systems, which provide excellent imaging performance. These products enable to build high resolution parcel inspection systems as well as air cargo and light vehicle screening systems with high steel penetration capability.
The main features of X-Card series are:
• Complete and reliable design with seamlessly integrated photodiode and readout electronics
• Compact package and simple cabling enabling fast assembly and service
• Excellent X-ray response uniformity and stability
