Press release from DEUTZ - 2007-11-12

DEUTZ engines for agricultural equipment II

This power range has been complemented by the development of a water-cooled four-professional cylinder version of the 2011 series. In accordance with the requests of many customers, there are now available within these series power ratings up to 74.9 kW with unchanged installation space and simultaneous compliance with the exhaust emission regulations EPA Tier 3 and EU stage III A.

In the upper power class DEUTZ offers air and water-cooled V-engines. The air-cooled units of the 413 and 513 series are available with powers between 77 and 405 kW with speeds extending from 2300 to 2500 min-1. Naturally aspirated or turbocharged engines with or without charge air cooling are supplied with six, eight, ten or twelve cylinders, depending on the respective power requirement. For particularly high environmental protection requirements, for instance for indoor operation, there are available swirl-chamber engines with DEUTZ two-stage combustion®.

The water-cooled V-engines of the 1015 and 2015 series complete the compact engine range at the upper end. With six and eight cylinders their power class extends from 240 to 500 kW at speeds between 1900 and 2100 min-1. Cylinder heads with four-cock technology and the DEUTZ electro valve system MVS® ensure economical and extremely environmentally acceptable operation. With this equipment the engines of the 2015 series fulfill the today’s exhaust emission limits specified by European and US regulations.
