CUT TO LENGTH AND PRESS FEEDING LINE - EXPANDED METAL DIMECO

The customer processes heavy gauge and wide stocks in automatic and manual modes while assuring operator’s safety.

LINE PERFORMANCES
Feeding of coil up to 15 tons, 2000 mm wide and 4 mm thick.
Wide variety of processed materials : cold or hot laminated steels, stainless steels, aluminum, copper, pre-coated...

ADVANTAGES OF THE SOLUTION
The customer can safely operate the line according to one of the 3 following modes.
• Metal expanding press automatic coil feeding at 10 m/mn.
• Cutting to length of blanks to be processed later on another press line. Stacking of 2,5 m blanks on a 4-ton retractable lifting table.
• Manual destacking of blanks by means of a powered manipulator to feed the metal expanding press in jog mode.

The reinforced 1691 MICROPRO® straightenerfeeder equipped with crocodile head opening offers easy roll cleaning when shifting to another material type.
The hydraulic shear crops the ends and cuts the blanks.
